I'm writing to tell you about Environmental Advocates of New York.

I support the work of Environmental Advocates because for more than 40 years, they have been working hard to make New York a national leader when it comes to protecting our air, land, and water.

Right now, they’re immersed in several key issues, including protecting our water and communities from the threat of industrial gas drilling known as fracking. They’re also working hard to reduce the pollution that is changing our climate, and keeping a watchful eye to ensure that the state provides enough resources to the agencies charged with protecting our natural resources.

Based in the state capital, Environmental Advocates maintains a constant vigil over New York's decision-makers, engages in independent research to address our most pressing environmental challenges, and reviews every bill debated by the State Legislature.

Environmental Advocates also helps New Yorkers across the state from Buffalo to Brooklyn connect with their representatives in Albany when it matters most.
